When I got to the shelter, I noticed that there were no scratching posts at all. This is not available in Dahab. From there came my idea to built a tree for the kittens ourselves. I saw that they were bored and eager to climb.

We purchased a tree, completely stripped it of all leaves and put up boards.This way the kittens can climb or relax in the tree, how nice is that?

We wanted to make a sleeping house in which they would feel safe (especially the vulnerables). We built a well-assembled house with the tree of us and wanted to build 2 more. Unfortunately this was no longer possible due to circumstances, so I finished this house and I will continue with this project next year when I come back Dahab.
